On 16-18 May 2018 over 200 senior representatives of the specialty feed ingredients sector came together for Feed Additives Asia at the Millennium Hilton Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand to discuss the current market position and the strategies required for success in the future.
During the three-day conference, founders, CEOs and business leaders from global feed additives producers and buyers heard from academics, expert advisors and their own peers in a series of presentations and groups discussions. Topics addressed included M&A activity in the sector, an in-depth look at the recent crisis in the vitamins market, and outlook for key markets in the Asia-Pacific region.
Attendees were presented with a series of facts, ideas and seasoned opinions, to help them shape their own business plans, and connect with potential partners who can help those plans come to fruition.
Networking across the event was supported by three evening networking events, to provide attendees with the chance to discuss the content from each day and build relationships with stakeholders from the region.
Rory Brown the Co-Founder of AgriBriefing (Feedinfo’s parent company) said:
“Over the past 20 years the Feedinfo News Service has established a reputation as the leading pricing and intelligence service for the feed and feed additives market globally. Last year we were excited to add a conference arm to our business where the industry can meet, develop connections and really learn about the latest innovations and developments in our industry. The event in Bangkok last week was the second in our series of international events. It was a huge success and we have been delighted with the feedback we have already received from speakers, delegates and sponsors”.
Olympia Theocharous, Head of Event Content for the Feed Additives conferences globally commented:
“We were delighted with the content from across the three days and the ability of our speakers to share their expertise, offer their opinions and present insight into unique, or sometimes controversial approaches for the feed additives value chain. We are now very excited about our Feed Additives Global and Feed Additives Americas events later in 2018.”
The team are now finalising the agenda and networking plans for the second Feed Additives Global event taking place at the Okura Hotel Amsterdam from 26-28 September. Following on from the 2017 event which brought together 450 stakeholders from the specialty feed ingredients value chain, the Feedinfo team has developed a new agenda based on extensive feedback and research which is already receiving positive feedback from the sector.
Feed Additives Americas (Miami, 12-13 December) is also currently in development and will provide region specific information for the specialty feed ingredients sector in North, Central and South America.
