Editor/Corrector for publications on the agricultural markets

Tallage is an agro-economic research office specializing in analyzing and forecasting grain and oilseeds markets in Europe and around the world. In particular, Tallage publishes the monthly Stratégie grain reports, a reference tool in the agricultural markets (more information on www.strategie-grains.com).

Tallage is part of the AgriBriefing group, the world leader in providing information and creating data in agroeconomics.

THE ROLE
The missions of the recruited person will be the following:

1) Correction:
• proofreading and of the Stratégie grain monthly reports in French and English
• control and validation of the layouts of the reports

2) Layout:
• Occasionally replace the person in charge of the layout of Stratégie grain monthly reports (InDesign software)

3) Writing:
• write weekly and/or monthly notes on grain and oilseed markets
• write articles, and briefing notes on the market analysis made by Stratégie grain to contribute to the notoriety of the company

THE PROFILE
Graduate degree with skills in the fields of journalism, publishing and/or communication. Skills or experience in agriculture and agricultural markets is a plus.

The job requires:
• perfect knowledge of French and English. Fluency in Spanish and/or German is a plus
• an appetite for proofreading and correction
• an interest in the agricultural raw materials market
• know how to find and synthesize information
• show curiosity, precision, rigor
• be organized to respect the publication dates
• knowledge of Indesign software would be a plus (a short training course is possible)

CONDITIONS
We are offering a permanent contract with management level status
Office location: Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne (77), 45 mn train journey from Paris-Gare de Lyon
We offer the possibility of working from home

Start date: October 2022
