Urner Barry’s Commercial Content Team are looking for an ambitious candidate who wants to take the next step in their career as an Event and Content Producer in the food and agriculture sector. The role holder will research and produce global events and commercial content (webinars, videos and articles) for the animal protein community.

Working out of our Toms River office, you will manage and develop our existing event and commercial content portfolio as well as supporting in the launch of new events and products. The role holder will be provided with training to ensure they are confident in event production and commercial content development that supports the needs of our clients and the sector. You will work closely with the commercial content team as well as editorial staff, analysts, marketers, sales executives, and operations managers and will be involved in business‐critical content decisions. Some travel will be required in this role for meetings and events.

• Delivering commercially successful events and content (webinars, videos, articles) for the Urner Barry brand
• Conducting comprehensive research into food markets focusing on primary research via phone and face‐to‐face meetings
• Managing and delivering detailed project plans for successful delivery of events and commercial content
• Planning the structure of events and securing top‐level speakers
• Building relationships with sector leaders and keeping abreast of developments and potential new topics that might translate into successful content
• Co‐ordinating and working with members of the wider team – editorial, marketing, sales, and operations for the successful delivery of events
• Managing the running events on the day

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a content or research related role.
• A high level of commercial awareness and be deadline driven.
• The ability to build relationships and communicate with senior industry stakeholders.
• Influencing skills, be personable, keen to talk to new people and confident on video calls and on the phone.
• Excellent copy writing skills.
• Experience as an event or content producer or any background knowledge of the agriculture or food industry is desirable but not a necessity.

• This job will be based out of our Toms River office and employees will need to be able to come to the office at least 3 days per week.
• Employees are free to use the office facilities full time, or work from home the remaining 2 days per week.
• Initial probationary period of 90 days.
