Power BI developer – temp 6 months, Tallage

Tallage is a French agricultural commodity market analysis company and member of the AgriBriefing group. Tallage’s provides the Stratégie grains website and publishes associated grains reports.

We are in the process of migrating away from our core system, FileMaker to a proprietary database created by our US team. Additionally, we are restructuring our in-house technical team. Therefore, we are looking for a Power BI developer to implement a graphical interface that should replace FileMaker software. Users are essentially market analysts so the developer must have a good understanding of data modeling, the main objective is to offer a better user experience.

Tallage currently operates a hybrid working policy, and the role is to be based with access to the Moret-sur-Loing office.

Key responsibilities:
• Development of a Power BI dashboard and an interactive visual that communicates with DB
• Extracting, transforming and exporting data between different RDBMS and from Excel file to Power BI and vise-versa.
• Create customize charts and custom calculations
• Prepared program level and user level documentation.

Your skills:
• The ideal candidate will have a developer experience of Power BI. Azure experience is highly advantageous.
